Born February 17, 1971, in Downers Grove, Illinois, Denise Lee Richards is an American actress and model. In 1986, she appeared in the Double music video, ÒThe Captain of Her Heart,Ó at the young age of 15. Early roles include Saved by the Bell, Married...with Children, Beverly Hills, 90210, Seinfeld, Lois and Clark, and Melrose Place, though her breakout role was in Starship Troopers in 1997. Other important roles include Wild Things, The World is Not Enough (which earned her a Razzie Award for Worst Supporting Actress and a ranking as one of the worst Bond girls of all time by Entertainment Weekly), and Drop Dead Gorgeous. While appearing in four episodes of Spin City, she began dating Charlie Sheen, whom she married in 2002. The couple was regularly seen in the tabloids during a long, tumultuous divorce process, including a restraining order she filed against Sheen for threatening to kill her, though they are now on good terms. She has guest starred regularly on various television shows and had her own reality program, Denise Richards: It's Complicated. She and Sheen have two daughters together: Sam and Lola. Richards also has an adopted daughter, Eloise.
